We craft stories with

intention. emotion. impact. connection. heart. passion.

OUR ROOTS

From tour bus to gear van

Vixen Productions was raised on the road...literally. Our founder spent her early years backstage, side-stage, and sometimes center stage, traveling across the country with her parents' band. That unconventional beginning shaped everything: the way we listen, the way we see, and the way we tell stories.

What started in the music industry has evolved into something bigger. Today, we’re a full-service, woman-led video production company partnering with corporate teams, schools, and mission-driven organizations across the Midwest and beyond. Our work is emotionally grounded, and built to connect, because stories don’t just inform; they move people.

IT’S IN THE NAME

We chose the name Vixen for a reason.

The fox is clever, intuitive, and quick to adapt—just like us. But it’s also a quiet nod to the women in this industry who’ve had to create their own paths. Vixen is more than a name; it’s our creative DNA: instinct-led, purpose-driven, and unafraid to do things differently.
For us, filmmaking isn’t about showing off - it’s about showing up. We believe in listening closely, crafting with care, and helping brands find their voice. Whether you’ve got a mission to share or a message to elevate, we’re here to help you tell it.

Meet The Crew

Like the fox, we’re quick on our feet, sharp with our instincts, and always up for the challenge. We’re part filmmakers, part problem-solvers, and full-time lovers of a good story.

Lonnie Iske

Founder | Creative Lead

It all started with my parents’ band and a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle camera.

I was five when I got my first camera, and it instantly sparked a lifelong fascination. Growing up on the road taught me independence, resilience, and how to get creative with what I had. At the time I was an only child surrounded by adults and stages, I learned to observe closely, imagine freely, and capture whatever moved me, even if most of those early photos were blurry and weirdly cropped.
That little plastic camera, and the wild, music-filled upbringing that came with it, shaped everything. It planted the seed for the storyteller I’d become. Looking back now, I see it wasn’t just a toy, it was the beginning of something real. And for that, I’m endlessly grateful.

Nate Talan

Director | Editor | Producer

As a kid, I was obsessed with playing make believe. Looking back, I realize it wasn’t just about imagination - it was about creating and telling stories. That passion stuck with me, and by the time I was headed to college, I knew exactly where I was going: video. Since then, I’ve built a career doing what I love, and not a single day has felt like "work." I’m grateful to keep creating with great people and bringing meaningful stories to life.

Senior Creative Director | Producer

Energy!
Something I've always embraced. From sports to media it has been a driving force to my
successes. Having the willingness to put yourself out there is exciting, thrilling, and at times, terrifying. I embrace all of that with my creativity, and storytelling. No matter how many projects I have done, I always find great happiness in seeing them come to life. It's special. I love creating moments, and at the center of it all, I believe that's the job. Making people happy while being happy. While doing what I love. I am always grateful for my opportunities, and thrive in the moments that make them happen. I am always looking for the next creative adventure!

Jenny Vause

Creative Producer | Client Relations

I’ve always loved storytelling. Whether that meant performing on stage or giving Oscar-worthy acceptance speeches into a hairbrush in my bathroom mirror as a kid. My creative path led me to build and lead Evolve Dance Company in Rockford, Illinois in 2005, where I’ve spent years shaping ideas, guiding talent, and bringing big creative visions to life. My path into film and commercial production began when I started collaborating with Lonnie, founder of Vixen Productions, creating dance concept videos and discovering that camera movement is choreography in its own right—sometimes sharp and fast, sometimes fluid, but always intentional. Wanting a deeper understanding of the industry, I completed Illinois Film Office training and gained hands-on insight into how all the moving pieces of production come together. Today, as a creative producer with Vixen Productions, I thrive on developing strong concepts and producing compelling video content that connects with audiences and elevates every story told.

Luca Sauceda

Writer | Director

Curiosity is the word that defines my life. It's what took me from Jackson, Michigan and placed me in Rockford, Illinois. It's also the word that made my love of film blossom into a career in Media Production. Everyone has a story to tell, and whether it's through an Interview or a Film, I plan to help share these stories with the world.

Grace Nelson

Intern

From a young age, I was always either watching or creating videos. I never realized video could become a career until I discovered the Mass Communication program at Rock Valley College. As a Mass Comm student, I’ve been incredibly grateful for the opportunities I’ve been given, especially my internship with Vixen Productions. I’m excited to work alongside such talented creatives while continuing to learn new skills and gain hands-on experience with professional equipment.
