Steve Taddei, Au.D. is an audio professional who blends the audio arts with hearing science. He holds a degree in audio engineering and a doctorate in audiology.
Steve is the Lab Director and co-founder of HearAdvisor, where he conducts objective evaluations of hearing technologies. He is also an adjunct professor of audio arts and a Senior Contributor at HearingTracker, creating educational review content.
His creative work spans studio and field recording, videography, and narrative audio, including producing and hosting the HearingTracker Podcast

My interest in visual storytelling began during my sophomore year of high school, when I started building an amateur photography portfolio—armed with nothing more than my phone and a growing creative spark. While I’ve come a long way since those early cell phone shots, I still carry the same passion, curiosity, and joy into every photography and videography project I take on today.
